Too late, and also bad Arabic interface for Google Blogger

بلوج، بلوق، وربما بلوغ أيضاً … ومدوّنة

أخيراً قامت جوجل بتعريب واجهة المستخدم لخدمة التدوين التابعة لها “جوجل بلوغر Google Blogger” ومع الشكر الجزيل على ذلك، رغم أنه جاء متأخراً جداً، وبدون أي سبب مقنع، اريد أن اعرب عن الإستياء من تضارب المصطلحات الأساسية المستخدمة باللغة العربية، فمرة يسمّونها “بلوج” ومرة يسمّونها “بلوق” واحياناً يسمّونها “مدوّنة”، وقس على ذلك !

هل هذا التضارب في المصطلحات العربية المستخدمة ناتج بسبب عدم وجود عناصر عربية ذات دراية ومعرفة كافية باللغة العربية في فريق التعريب الذي قام بذلك التعريب في جوجل؟

أو هل هو ربما بسبب عدم وجود عناصر إدارية عربية في ذلك الفريق ؟ أم هناك أسباب أخرى !

لاحظ التسميات المختلفة المستعملة في واجهة المستخدم :

Apart from coming too late, after the market established itself on its own for the Arab blogger, Google blogger came up with a poor Arabic user interface that is way behind other user interfaces in other blogging services already in the market, and also that has severe inconsistencies in the used blogging Arabic terminology. for example, it is giving the word “blog” the Arabic transliteration “Bloj” in one instance, then the Arabic transliteration “Bloq” in another instance, and then the Arabic translation “Mudawwanah” which is already the common term used to refer to the word “Blog” in Arabic.

I am wondering if this was caused by poor qualifications in the Arabic language for those in the Arabization team in Google Blogger, or for lack of a responsible Arab manager in all that team, or for some other reasons !!!

Maybe if we know the names and the qualifications if the Google Arabization team, we will know what is the reason behind that poor quality used in the Arabic Interface of Google Blogger !
